Please post a tracklisting, as requested in the sticky.

whoops

a trackisting? im terrible at those, i buy a whole pile of tracks mix them together and pay no attention to what track is what, ill have to go through thousands of tracks to pull it together…its a bad habit i need to change, i will do so next time:disappointed: sorry xx

Did you, by chance, mix it in traktor?

At that point you will be able to recover the tracklisting fairly easy.

good point:slight_smile: next time i promise x

LoLz… Better bring in cake next time as well!

(This is what we ask of anyone forgetting tracklistings. )

Can I go back later and get a listing from a set after I closed the program? This would make life easier on me… So I don’t have to write them down then type them out later… :sunglasses:

yes you can. but it’s a tracklist of everything you played in that traktor session.

explorer–> archive

there everything is listed with date and time, just export the playlist (http://www.traktorbible.com/en/printsetlist.aspx) and delete the tracks you played before or after recording your mix.

Yups!

Just remember the time and date. And you will be home free!

Traktor Pro:
Left side Browser >

  • Click on Explorer
    • Click on Archive
      • Look for the correct date and click.

Traktor DJ Studio:
Left side Browser:

  • Click on Playlists / Mixes
    • Click on History
      • Look for the correct date and click

With both versions of Traktor, the main track window will display the tracks in the correct order of playing.

where is the sticky you mentioned, tekki?! maybe a link to the bible’s how to print in there would be nice.. can’t find it right now..

WOW, this is a great little piece of info you gave me… as simple and easy as that step is, you just made my life easier. Thanks!:sunglasses:

Mmmm, there was one almost a week ago. One of the guys must have deleted it.
Also the very first topic of this forum mentions tracklisting.
But, let’s get back to the mix, this is a total thread hijack.

Anytime man, anytime!

Blimey! It would still take me awhgile to get the list though as it lists every track you play, and while in the mix, one track playing, other deck im going thorugh tracks to find the next one to play, ill give it a go next mix I do or..ill take the short cut and send cake!

Also, if there is anyone out there could share their mappings they might use for a nano korg controller where you can actually mix without using a mixer, as Im going away and want to travel with Traktor, but I wont have a mixer there but then relaised I could use the controller, or am I wrong?

I find the best way to do this if using a mac, open traktor begin mix shrink traktor while track playing open sticky, type first track rinse repeat at the end of the mix you have a track list

Easy Peezy!!

Yes…lets get back to the mix:slight_smile: opinions welcome:slight_smile: x

I’m two days into quitting cigarettes, got about 4 hours sleep last night and was just listening to Buntu mix through my head phones. Loved it! Kinda dozed in and out but at least my feet were moving. Sorry hopefully you aren’t mad I was relaxing.

Checking out other mixes a bit later. Good stuff Samantha. lol frilly knickers

As long as the Buntu didnt drive you to start smoking! Ive had a few comments that parts of it was boring…:stuck_out_tongue: sometimes its hard to play one good track after another…i like to space them out a bit, although am still learning about mix structure.. Thanks for the feedback:slight_smile: x
