Gigaworks T3 and X-Fi Surround 5.1 External - Can I use them with Traktor S4?

Hi there, I have Gigaworks T3 and Creative X-Fi Surround 5.1 External Sound Card.. And I’m planning to buy Traktor S4.. So can I use these 2 things directly with Traktor S4 ?

Directly? Without any adaptor or something like that (cable etc.?)

Because i own it and i wanna have better quality :slight_smile:

I dunno i dont use any of that stuff, i just know you can output the software with pretty much any soundcard.

Not sure you will get decent latency with a Creative soundcard though. They arent made for DJing and latency is the biggest bastard to overcome.

Also i dunno how you would monitor so , erm…

From what i heard is that uses the same cirrus logic chip that the NI interfaces use 25/96khz

by all accounts, it looks like you are outta luck with the X-Fi

yeah the s4’s soundcard is better. creative labs writes TERRIBLE drivers.
