Going to be in London next week for the rest of the month. What are the best clubs, pubs to go to?

I’m down London tomorrow. Got no plans for Friday, going fabric Saturday. Any ideas or places to go for Friday?

@Djsteils - i’d say anywhere in East London from Shoreditch towards Stoke Newington (and even Old Street) is a good night out. usually the better music (no top 20 electro house to be found anywhere thank God!)

in terms of Pubs i’d say North and South London is where its at. Pretty well priced and tad quieter (in terms of music) and more social

but it all depends on what music your into and the type of person you are, cause it can get a bit ‘cliquey’ & ‘tribal’ out here…

All depends on what you’re into, Just finished up my 10 month stint in London town and had a few good nights out at Corsica Studios in Elephant & Castle. Fabric is well known, as Ministry, but need to know what you’re into.

but tbh Shoreditch isnt like that hasnt been like that for a good year and a half now

on the weekend its no different to Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square, its pretty sad actually, but if you wanna pull it’s a goldmine!

all that “being a dickhead is cool” lot have moved up the road to Dalston, Hackney Downs, Homerton and Stoke Newington

Were down there for a party on Saturday one of my mates wants go fabric but today we’ve got no plans really. Well the plan was to get a tube pass and go for a mooch about, few pints and just take it easy. More looking for something to do than get messed up. I was looking at the film 4 outdoor cinema but summers over now and I heard a place does hip hop karaoke but it was on last night.

Is boris having a festival tomorrow? Is it any good?

Great Ewer Street Warehouse is the sickest venue in London though. If there’s a night running you can get tickets to, make sure you go.

We had an amazing weekend in London, Friday was pretty chilled we went a few bars and rode the tube round a few places. Saturday was a tough day, we started on the ale at 10am watching the rugby in walkabout near the river then jumped a few tubes and bars till we made it up to Camden. Back the hotel, changed then onto fabric. Fabric was really good, I was well “in the zone” by the time Len Faki came on at 4am, he nearly split my head in 2. I had to take a break from his set cos it was getting a bit intense. Stayed drinking through the night into the next day till we got back to Manchester about 5pm. Feel real bad today, had to come home from work… Worth it though :slight_smile:
