I was going to suggest London and some of the east end clubs like Fabric, East Village or Dalston Superstore. But largish groups of lads could have a problem getting into any of these (or most London) clubs. I guess it you group up into smaller bunches of lads it wouldn’t be an issue, but then there’s the possibility of some not getting in.
Cant speak for the other towns, but this has always been the case with decent clubs in London (i.e. the non-mainstream ones)
Well, as long as you’re not pissed and dont look like trouble you should be OK. be great if you could get some ladies in the group - even if you just tag up in the queue, makes it SO much easier.
Most of the east end clubs are more relaxed than the west end/mainstream ones, so you stand a better chance of getting a good night out. Plus the music will be WAY better
the other option, of course, is my home town, Brighton. Load of clubs in a small area, pretty good range of musical styles from Funk to Hip hop, Dubstep to Deep house. OK door policies in most too.
I doubt you’ll have a problem getting into Fabric. Last time I was there we all just strolled in, setting off metal detectors on the way, with not much more than a nod from the bouncers. Shout out to the folk handing out umbrellas in the queue lol, that was a nice touch seeing as it was panning down with rain.
Tbh though, I thought Fabric was heavily over-rated. It’s a fairly big club, aye, but it’s not that great. The main dancefloor was ridiculously packed & most people seemed to be in a bad mood. Might just be London Patch London & come to Glasgow. Sub Club. Easy.
Or do this. Acid, dugs & cars? What more could you want?
You could wait like 2 weeks or so after until warehouse project opens in Manchester Manchester is a very good city for music too as is Liverpool! I think it’ll be harder to find the underground clubs in Newcastle though? They all seem to be into fake tan and pulling girls haha (Joking)
London has the legendary fabric though, think you’d get a buzz from that and I know Bristol have some insane nights
Just up the road from kings cross, and there’s even an ‘EGG Bus’ that does shuttle runs to/from kings cross. I dont think they do day parties, but they have a Sunday breakfast club that runs most of sunday for the morning after clubbers.
As for me, i’ve been to most places round london, and EGG is a good laugh. It’s quite small but vibey and has plenty of rooms. I’ve found places like Ministry for instance to be a bit…Off recently. Not sure why, but the atmosphere can seem a bit hostile, whereas EGG is really friendly. Might just be my perception of it mind.
I went to Manchester last new year and i wasn’t impressed but other people told me that i went to the wrong part of the city !!!
I hit Leeds alot and enjoy it round there so that’s why i wouldn’t mind somewhere decent to be honest.
Maybe London sounds good then from the response i have had, is there any other good clubs, bars etc around egg and is there any decent DJS around that time ??
That fabric looks good too, decisions decisions !!!
I met some lads on holiday from Bristol and the told me about a thing called NAS or something a big drum and bass event. Im not sure when it is and im not massively into my drum and bass but it would be a good experience. Whats the best places around Bristol ??
