Got a broken Korg NanoPAD? Try this mod!
Everyone knows how rubbish the NanoPAD’s quality is, but if your pads have stopped working and the x/y pad is okay, try this:
could be quite a cheap way to build a decent x/y pad into a custom midi controller.
i’m just surprised that the pcb still works after being broken in half!

That’s really interesting. Could you perhaps take a picture of the PCB and post it? I’d like to see if there’s a reason why it can do that.
looks like it was someone on that ableton forum who broke it in half. pretty cool it still worked 
would love to add a real xy pad by the side of my lpd8 if i found someone selling a nanopad where just the xy pad still worked or something… be better than my usb touchpad + glovepie script.

I was hoping that someone on this forum had a broken NanoPAD and was willing to try it for themselves and report back
