Groove 3 - $100 All Access Pass to learn Maschine?
Got Maschine Mikro mk2 and the 2.0 software, trying to make time to learn how to use it and thought that a few tutorials might speed things up …
Groove 3 currently have $50 off their yearly pass so it’s only $100, but it looks like their Maschine 2.0 tutorials concentrate more on the new Studio hardware and not the Mikro.
Is it still worth the money (could also learn Massive and more about Bitwig), or is there a better set of tutorials more suited to the Mikro and 2.0 software?
I post new tutorials every week (I’ve never missed a week) and there’s really great stuff from salamanderanagram and others in the ADSR from time to time too.
My suggestion is to sign up to Groove3 if you have not already and wait for their download sales. At least this way you have the download to watch any time and refresh your memory, etc. I got the Maschine download tutorials, they even updated them when 2.1 update was launched.
I got my Mikro about 2 months ago, and the best thing I ever did was read the manual. It takes about 3 hours, and you’ll know everything you need to know in order to get started. No need to pay for lessons. Just stay curious about it and have fun and everything that you need answered will come on its own.
Relying on lessons too much will take the joy away from learning it yourself, and will also give you too much to consider at once. Just have fun and enjoy the INCREDIBLY versatile piece of hardware you bought.
