i dont know the mac price market too well but i think i got a good deal
have to wait till tuesday to get my hands on it.but was in the applestore today and no more do i have to wonder what it would be like to own one.
im not sold on ssd yet (i build pc’s) but the price is still too high on them imo
give it another year and we shall start to see a big price fall+i have never had a hdd fail me yet,but of course if i see a good deal on one i will pick one up.
From an SSD owner. Once you go PQI Black, you never go back.
I’ve been using them for two years now. I’ve learned to be spartan with my computer. Not have bullshit program’s and video games. It’s actually made me like 100% more effective at life without them. If you’re a cheap bastard you can get a 32 GB for like 50 bucks with decent read write times, but if you’re poor, save up $100 and buy the Samsung 64GB SSD like I did. Thing has 300MB/ps both ways, which is like future proof for until Traktor 10,000,000
AboveDat, keep an eye out cuz with those mbp, the video card goes out on them and its a full swap of the logic board and its taken care of by apple free of charge.
For switching all your data over, get the IP of your wireless network on your PC, go to your macs finder → go → connect to server → “smb://your.ip” → use your mac to find files you want and just drag/drop. its faster if you do it with an ethernet cable, just my computers piled under a ton of crap and is impossible to get into.
I still use my PC for finding music on blogs + if its any good i transfer it over to the mac
