I don’t need anything tooooooo nice, but I would like a middle level pair of headphones at least.. cost matters yea… but id rather spend a few more bucks now than buy some crappy ones and have to buy new ones in a few months… any suggestions?

Hello everyone on Djtechtools, I was wondering,
what do you guys look for in DJ headphones?
what is the true difference between headphones that cost 50 bucks, and headphones that cost 250?
I have Sennheiser HD 205's that cost me around 40...
So, i'm not a HUGE audiophile. I appreciate good sound and know all about good amps and drivers in headphones, but when I DJ I wan't something that looks good too.
I am currently using a pair of Grado SR80 from a few years ago, great shit, love...
I'm about to change my Sennheiser hd215, they served me well, but I want smaller headphones, cuz these started to annoy me.
So, I don't want to spend more than 100 eur, and after reading/watching reviews of almost all headphones in that price range...
Hi all,
after years of spending as little as possible on headphones to spend it on gear instead I am ready for a new (read: real) pair of headphones. I have my setup for now which frees up some bucks for new investments, yay!
Now, have any of...
Hi,
Looking to buy new headphones for playing live. Currently use BoseQC15's "at home" (for listening, tweeking etc). Currently have Sennheiser HD205's which I LOATHE - hence biased towards Sennheiser. I hate the new-gen 'glitzy' look. Love the look...

What ones are the good HD25’s? from these threads someone always says dont buy the ‘SP’ or the ‘i’ or the ‘ii’ o.O
Or Pioneer HDJ500s
Or Senny HD280s
Or whatever.
Depends how much you wanna spend and what exactly you’re after.

I paid £90 for mine, just had a quick look and everywhere still sells them at that, where’ve you seen em at 60 ?
You know I don’t actually know, my friend just said he got them for that much.
A quick google search shows that you are right.

For £60 id say buy them, they went 6/7 months getting crammed into a tiny DJ bag with no damage, just tape them up a wee bit once the cracks show, other than that, brilliant headphones.
My HDJ-500s have had a fair amount of abuse and they’re doing fine. The Pioneer logos have all rubbed off but no damage other than that. And they’ve been crammed into a bag full of cables and stuff many times.
Please tell me that last link was in purpose. PLEASE!!!
Did you really click on all of them lol?
That last bit is a feature, not a bug!
It should have been this one…Robo Roll’d.

My headphone vote goes to in-ears - Shure 315’s.
