hipster dub

hipster dub

if you didnt realize that this whole think is a joke then…

also, at 5:51 of part one, their playing a UKF video… from the DnB channel

OMG That is hilarious!

It’s like, someone took cocaine and shot it directly in your eyeballs, and then they fall out on the floor!

Dubstep really has just become a shitty meme.

That one was one of the funniest out of all of the other ones!

This sort a gave a bad name to dubstep. Because If people are just getting into the Dubstep genre they are gonna think that all the dubstep people ware glass and look hipster and scummy.

haha

Dubstep always was a shitty meme.

It started with “wobble core DnB”

And that started with DJ Hazard and Distorted Minds - Mr. Happy

An innocent mistake, that has quite literally…

Gone.

Too.

Far.

Dubstep isn’t about Skrillex, or Doctor P, or Flux Pavillion…

I am not arguing about the history of actual “dub” step.

Perhaps I should have been more specific, but the recently popular brand of music “labeled” as dubstep, most certainly is an offshoot of wobble DnB

aaand here’s the fascist genre elitist here to teach everyone dubstep 101.

the hipster dub videos would’ve been funnier if it included these guys too.
jus sayn.

I just don’t get whenever dubstep comes up people start bashing it. But here we go again for the 25th time this year…

Edit: not aimed at OP. Aimed at the people crying about DS.

“…no, Kurt Kobain is from the Foo Fighters!..Oh shit!”

There are a lot of quotables in this, funny as hell.

ha brilliant vid!

i have 20-20 vision … so i just rock frames

classic

This is what I was getting at Exo, and I’m not trying to be elitist, just trying to point out that there are definitely 2 sides to the coin.

No more posting things at 4am for me :disappointed:

Keep it friendly, eh?

LOL.

I am not crying.

I am laughing, all the way to the bank…

Aight den :sunglasses:

was just kiddin around nothin personal. it’s just the cliche underground head thing to say whenever their favourite genre gets hyped by the mainstream.

i’ve been guilty of it too lol :stuck_out_tongue:

 I have a fairly limited knowledge of Dubstep. It’s just, stateside (Atlanta, anyway) is SO bro. I’m fine with Dubstep having gone in that direction, but here it seems like the only direction it’s going. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a genre going mainstream (it’s a measure of success, isn’t it?), but the bits of it that are mainstream are the ones that maybe shouldn’t be.

Not that it’s my place to say what an entire style of music should(n’t) become
