People always called me double A ron as my name is Aaron. So DjDoubleA is what was born from that nickname
I have a russian lover who is a dj and is the one that encouraged me to start taking my love for edm seriously, among other things. He calls me Lolita or Lola (from Charlotte) because he’s 11 years older than me and at the time that we met, I was barely 20. Anyway, 1014 or SPACE1014 is for my geek cred muhahaha. I have a deep fear of being categorized with all the other partygirls who put on headphones and tight shirts and “dj”.

I thought maybe Nasty Nate would be a good dj name for me, but I googled it and there is some Hispanic dude with that name already…not sure if he’s big enough to care that he has my name. Otherwise my last name is always hard for people to pronounce so I’m tryin to think of somethin clever with my last name. Otherwise I’ll just stick with DJ Shane, my middle name
I use Big C around message boards, because that’s the name that my friends coined for me whilst raving. I’m a big guy, and my name is Colin, so it works. I also have a badass hat with that written on it I got at a rave (custom work).
As far as production/DJing goes, I go by Bassline Brine. My last name, and my buddy called me up one night and told me that was what my DJ name should be. And so it’s kind of stuck.
I have a very tight group of friends, and we’re in the process of trying to figure out an actual name when we work together.
A funny one of note, my buddy Cole goes by the DJ moniker “DJ C-Bag” which we all find hilarious. (He’s a HUGE DnB head)
