how do YOU make your studio loops?

mostly on this topic, basslines. I was considering learning the bass as i have one lying about and using that to make dubstep lines, but im not sure if it would work, not sure if it would go deep enough or do a wobble.

Is there a program you lot use? ive got FLstudio and imo its useless for this (either that or im still useless at it and need to look into it)

so, im looking for a program to create basslines, melody ive not a problem as ive a midi keyboard with a seperate program into Live8

this is a huge topic and I believe it has been covered in one of the threads lambox started… no need to start a new one IMO.
