How to disable S4 Sample Deck sync?

How to disable S4 Sample Deck sync?

This may be a simple question but I couldn’t locate any info on it.. I’ve just started trying to do mainly sample mixing and I can’t figure out how to stop the samples from auto-syncing to the master clock or master track…

For example, say I have both track C and D with four samples each at 100bpm, some at 170bpm, some 70bpm, and I want them to stay that way even if my master tempo is 185bpm and I have a song on track A playing at 100bpm. How do I do that?

Sample (Remix) Decks have a global sync button in 2.5, you can disable sync individually for slots too. This only applies to loops, one shots always play at original tempo.

How would I disable sync individually or where is the Global Sync Button? This is the problem I am having.. all that I’m currently using are loops. I cannot see anything in the in the settings that would change this..

If it helps at all I have is an S4 set up with Traktor Pro S4 ver 1.0.1 (R9428)

edit: After looking into it more I have completely missed the update to Traktor Pro 2 in April (I bought my S4 back in Early 2011, never kept up with updates)… I’ve put in my request with NI support, hopefully they’ll give me a voucher for the free upgrade that was offered to S4 owners and that will clear up all the problems I’m having.

All S4 owners qualify for a free upgrade to Pro 2.5 so it’s a matter of patience

You are right, I just got the activation key and am currently working with the new software.. Thanks for your help padi_04

No worries mate, glad you got it sorted.
