how to make jog wheels scratch?

just got the s2 and i cant make the jog wheel scratch. the tempo shifts instead of scratching. please help.

Check to see if the “Disable Jog Wheel Push” is checked. If it is, uncheck it.

Preferences>Transport>KeyLock mode = scratch
