Left jogwheel doesnt work on S4? Glitchy? Traktor SP 2

So recently, my S4 is acting up lately. Everything works except for the scratch mode on the left jogwheel on the S4. Yes im up to date on all updates. i have all the drivers. etc. The little load button that has the LED that shows its reading is reading it but its like stopping then going. And like everytime i spin the jog wheel, the software is picking it up but the track doesnt move, it acts like its spinning a 1/32 loop and just stays there and it makes a werid sound. pretty mad about this because i really need the jogwheel for beatmatching. any thoughts?
