how to make shift button mapping in Traktor pro 2

Hello, i am currently making a mapping for my mixtrack pro to make it more user friendly and have ran out of buttons to use.
as i never use the pitch bend buttons i was wondering how i can use the minus button on the pitch bend to activate BPM adjust and use the plus button to activate the BPM adjust as a filter? it seems all i have managed to do so far is make a mess. i was using it on the effect select button but hate the clicky feel from it so i starting thinking a little bit too far ahead of my self.
Also if anyone can tell me how to map LEDs would be amazing although i can live without them.
Thanks
/Patrick

this should help Get more Controls- Modifier basics - DJ TechTools

thanks
dont quite get me what i wanted unless i have misread something but atleast i get to use the BMP adjust slider for both things though.

Good link, cheers.

You want to map one modifier with two different values for each button:

Button 1:
M2/hold/value 1
LED controller range 1-1

Button 2:
M2/hold/value 2
LED controller range 2-2

great thanks

prolly should’ve linked this too Advanced Mini Modifiers - DJ TechTools

or this How to Map LEDs in Traktor - DJ TechTools ← my LED homepage article from a couple years back

Nice article!

thanks everyone for all the great tips and reviews so very useful information.
is it normal when playing with he mappings the controller would crash ? simple turn traktor off and on and all is fine so no huge issue but wondered if anyone else might have suffered this problem at some point or is it me being inexperienced , traktor or my controller

n’ah, i get it on long ass mapping missions, i think all the constant in/out, learn/unlearn, start/stop something to test it kind of puts traktor in a headspin. switching off/on the controller just resets everything - although sometimes you have to close traktor too.

just remember, you can never export (save) too often
