I just did something crazy: I BOUGHT A VCI 100!!!
So…yeah…I basically just bought a vci 100 se from ebay for a ‘‘reasonable’’ price, although I’m not sure if it was a right call.I should receive it at some point next week…
The firmware is 1.2 Does it mean the unit will still have a few bugs?
I’ll keep u updated once I’ll get it
Finger crossed
hey
lol you wont regret it.
The firmware will work fine on its on and do most of what you want it to do, but yeah to really make the most of it and Ean’s mappings and iron out a few wee bugs you may wanna get the firmware updater from the DJTT shop.
k
I’ll b def doomed when my missus find out about my new purchase!!!
She doesn’t know yet
I would definitely go for 1.3. Sooo niiccceeee.
Congrats on the purchase. When youre ready, you should hit up CuttaBoi and see if he will arcade mod it for you. I believe he’s in the U.K.
Hey Man,
Just wanted to say welcome to the club!
Cheers bud, hope it will b the right choice
I did it too!!! I bought a Vci arcade edition new from DJTT!!! anxious of receiving and begin working with it!!!
You guys wont regret it. I espcially recommend the 1.3 firmware to the OP. Just upgraded to it today and its sooooooooo much better than the 1.2 firmware. The features Ean’s added to the SE work way better with it. I’d go as far to say that they barely work at all with the 1.2 firmware.
That’s just my opinion though
The new fat knobs and faders are awesome too if you feel like really pushing the boat out.
Anyway, this morning I finally received the vci-100 and I had a go with for 3 hrs nn stop!!!
It’s fricking awsome!!!I imported the latest tsi from djtt even tho I tweaked quite a lot as my firmware is 1.2 and I deleted some functions I’ll never use…
First impression is quite good anyway considering I have controll of 4 decks with just one unit rather than use several midi controllers…I think I’m in love with it already!!!

Nice to hear you’re custom mapping already. Keep it up, the more you put into your own programming, the more you’re going to like that unit. Viva VCI-100!!
