Is there a true difference between the regular first Traktor Control Vinyl and the MK2 vinyl? Explain to me whats so different besides where it shows you where the track starts on the record itself. Explain to me this “Native Scratch” technology.

Yeah, the MK2 vinyls are awesome for using the search function in online message boards. Try it out, it’s really quite useful…

didnt see it.

Wait until you wear your vinyl out, then buy the new ones

I’ve had my MK1 vinyl for about 2 years now, and I spin almost everyday. Havn’t done me any wrong, but have been thinking about getting the MK2 clear’s so I can see my googly eye slipmats though.

They’re pretty much the same, at least for me.

mk2 are better for turntablism, they track better any other type of djing you probs wont nitice a difference

My MKII’s are on the way, I basically bought them because I wanted white vinyl. The MK I vinyl seems to work fine for me.

That’s funny.
I have both, and I find I have more physical control with the mk2s. No major difference imo when it comes to signal, or skipping.

Yeah unless you are really into scratching and do a lot of it you may not ‘notice’ the difference, the key word there being ‘notice’.

The difference is there and they ‘can’ make your mixing tighter simply because the decoding is better… Thats simply the top and bottom of it.

If your mixing is spot on, its spot on. No-one has said that you cannot still use the MK1 perfectly well.

Its like buying a car thats just that little bit faster than your previous car. You can go fast in both, but the new car is faster.
