Kontrol Z2 transport mapping! Help me!

Hello djtt’ers,

I’m having a major problem right now, i use a Z2, but there are no standard transport controls (play, pitch bend, tempo). So i have 3 options but i just can’t find good info about it, it’s like nobody has this problem:

Option 1:
I can buy a X1 to do the simple transport controls + some nice effect controls.
Cons: All the browse, loop and hotcue controls are already on the Z2 so it’s not worth it? Or an other X1 mapping could work, but i can’t map.

Option 2:
I can buy a F1 and find a custom mapping for it to control the transport controls (Play pitch bend tempo) and add some remix decks functionality (which i don’t need).

Option 3:
Somebody could make a mapping for the Z2, i can’t find an excisting one.

Some ideas for the Z2 mapping: i would use the 4the hotcue button as a Play/Pause button. And i would like to use loop size knob for changing the tempo?

Is there anyone who can help me? I need this pretty fast as i have some gigs coming…

► Press and hold SHIFT and press the REL / INTL (A or B) button (depending on which Deck you would like to start or stop) to toggle Deck playback.

I’d honestly just get a X1 Mk2 or Mk1 plug and play two deck control. I always found the one knob effects to be limiting on the Z2. If your in a massive rush why not just use the Traktor keyboard shortcuts?

That shift + rel/intl doesn’t work on mine, but i managed to map my play/pause to the flux button, and the flux button got remapped to the deck c and d buttons i don’t use (only use 2 decks). So the problem is fixed, i will get a side controller to control the effects, because i also think the new effects on the Z2 are to limited. No need for an X1, but i think i’ll get an F1, because when i can go all ways with that, there are mappings for effects and for the remix decks so i can use it for both. Thanks!

Really? Thats weird.. Shift plus A or B works perfectly on mine. Glad to be of help!
