Controller for transport controls?
Hey!
Just curious to see what controller setup you guys might be using for transport controls with Traktor. I’ve been using the Midifighter 3D recently and mapped browser, scrolling, loading, etc.
Let me know what you use!

All the controls you need for transport control across 4 decks, AND an 8ch soundcard built in.
They are really cheap these days too regularly around or under $150

I use an X1 for the transport controls on the decks.
X1 Mk2, pretty much all you need.
LC1
Top knobs mapped to filters (in case I get stuck in front of an older DJM)
second row assigned to loops (shift + far right encoder equals browser knob)
Buttons assigned for:
Loop On
Load (ABCD)
BeatJump -loop
Beatjump +loop
Hotcue 1
Hotcue 2
Hotcue 3
Hotcue 4
Hotcue 5
Hotcue 6 (far right equals shift button)
Load Next
Cue (Shift = Master)
Play/Pause (Shift = Sync)
This allows me to use all four decks in either DVS, or HID and still have all my normal functions. Also allows me to use decks 3 and 4 if I show up and they only have two turntables or CDJ’s.

Its a bit overkill for transport 
Not if you mix 4 decks in Traktor!

What Zomo controller mappings are you using to control Traktor?
Just picked one up from DV247 for £54.
The stock one is GREAT.
Also, there is at least one good one on this very site in the Mappings Section (I think it was made by MDC Design?)
