Las Vegas best club?
Headed to Las Vegas for a long weekend in April 22-25, 2011 any suggestions on the best club or Dj too see in Vegas?

Real talk…Vegas clubs are nothing special. Waste of time and money…
Damn I love Vegas. I’ll probably be there around that time too . I turned 21 in March, and i’ve been there around 11 times since.
The best clubs imo are Tryst, XS, and I really liked Vanity as well. You have to go to Rehab though, it’s a day time pool party. Well either Rehab or TAO beach, but I prefer Rehab.
This is what my day (everyday) looks / looked like everytime i’m there:
Noon: Wake up
Noon - 1: Get Ready
1 - 3: Champagne buffet at Ceasars Palace
3 - 6: Go around the strip (drunk obv.)
6 - 7: Rest
7 - 8: Get ready again
8PM - 3AM: Go around club hopping
3AM - 4AM: Get food and rest for a little
4:30AM - 8AM or 9AM: After Party at Drais (which is a after party party )

What clubs open at 8? Coldfuzion sounds like you live it up!! My though was that everything in Vegas is done to the extreme clubs included.
I was at Rain when ATB started his residency. That was awesome. Rain is getting kind of dated but you can get the VIP wrist bands at the Stuff store for $65 (Don’t have to pay any covers) and skip the long lines for all the clubs/lounges in the Palms (rain, moon, Playboy, and Ghost bar). Also Saturday night is their industry night so it’s always a good place for Saturdays.
surrender, xs and the new club marquee are the only places you need to go.. if you’re looking for after hours.. normally from 2am or 3am-8am… check out drais.
as for the spring/summer.. pools to check out are wet republic, encore beach, and rehab.
if you’re looking for happy endings.. go up spring mountain.. or ask the cabs.. they know all the cool spots.
We will most likely hit a club on Saturday night which one has the best scene on Saturday night?

i can wait for lawler, digweed, sasha in Los Angeles…plus we got Migs, Doc, and the Basic and Liquified parties…

Hehe I live in LA and my gf is in vegas so I spend a lot of time in both places. And yeah mostly vegas clubs on the strip suck. I’ve had a good time at them but spent ridiculous amounts of money and generally found myself disappointed in the DJs. Rain was just ludicrous. This was a few years ago but I remember a two hour wait in line, a $40 or so cover, and $15-20 drinks. The DJ was playing stuff all over the map and sounded like he didn’t care whether it was mixed well or not. My buddy and I had met some dude in line who was in the air force; we had a drink with him and then hit the dance floors but then he tried to convince us that we would pick up girls if the three of us all freaked together on the dancefloor. We had narrowly escaped and made our way to the bar when R.E.O. Speedwagon came on.
But if you insist on one of those mega clubs maybe check out the new one in the Cosmopolitan (Marquee I think it’s called), they have been booking some seriously stellar house DJs since they opened. And if huge names aren’t what you’re seeking (or even if they are) pick up a copy of CityLife or Seven to look up clubs and who’s playing; you can get more of a sense of the local scene if you’re interested in that sort of thing.

Ok Im am leaving this Thursday and will be in Vegas till Monday the last Dj mix mp3 I bought was Benny Benassi and the last track was FLOW-Miles Dyson Remix to give you an idea of my music preference I really like Electro House!! Seems like its all top 40 according to everyone but there has to be one cool spot that throws some good tunes in sin city right?
Naaa… you like Benny Benassi and electro and shit, then you will be fine on a saturday night in Vegas. Trust me I was literally just out there and i wanted to pour cement in my ears with all the electro and stuff I was hearing. Now this is just my musical taste, I like techno, so vegas is not very good for me, but you will be just fine there.
