My essential setup looks like this:
• Macbook Pro laptop
• Traktor Scratch Pro software
• Kontrol X1 MK2 controller (with my own midi mapping)
• Traktor Audio 6 (i prefer external mixing on a venue’s mixer)
The rest of the equipment (Pioneer DJM-900 mixer and CDJ-2000s) was the venue’s. I was playing an hour-long set and there were other DJs before and after me using that equipment.
