it’s not the guy, or the music that most hate… it’s the teenie bopper fans and the douchebags who start moshpits like at rock concerts. I left punk and rock in 2000 and fell in love with dance music because of the culture it represented and the people that populated it. Mr Moore may have great intentions of just making music he enjoyed and playing it for people, but the fans made him a symbol for douchebags everywhere and made dance music “cool”, which is the fastest way to oversaturate and kill something that is actually cool because it opens it up to followers who don’t belong and the only reason they are there is because it’s “cool”.
No more skrillex threads, they discuss nothing and just allow insecure douchebags to spew hate because they are jealous of his success.

Skrillex? I love that track guys. This dubstep stuff is really cool. I like the wobble bass part the best, and then when its soft, and then a Japanese movie quote, and then waaaaaaammm wubbb wuub wuuubbbb waaaa waaaaa wikka wuuub waaaaa. <–that parts the best.
