making a transition from 120bpm to 124bpm (traktor pro)
Using traktor pro, when syncing track one with track two (to beatmatch), track two reverts to track one’s or the master bpm..
How do you get around making a transition from track one (120bpm) to track two (124bpm)
i´d pitch the bpm of track one slowly to 122 bpm and start track at 122 bpm, too. and on and on till you reached 200 bpm 
You got the BPM set to auto?
i’m not sure, how can I check if the BPm is set to auto…
Should it be?
the sync button shouldnt be yellow. if it is it will continue to follow what the master deck does

track 1 = 120 bpm
track 2 = 123 bpm
track 3 = 126 bpm
track 4 = 130 bpm
When I mix track 1 into 2 and I press the sync button
track 2 reverts to track 1’s bpm.
If I mix all the tracks I stay on 120bpm even though track 4 is 130bpm.
How do you get around this transitional issue?
Set the master track to track two, then sync track one to track two (I’d do it manually to make it sounds smoother if track one is playing through the master).
That way track one’s bpm with sync to track two’s
your putting too much thought it to it…and really taking all the fun out of djing. Ill spin a song thats 122bpm and pitch it up to 128 with not problem. Stop over analysing it
yeah that’s enough of a BPM change to worry about sound so go upper left in the global section click on the metronome symbol and select auto make sure keylock is on.
Yeah, I generally will speed up or slow down the track accordingly. I’ll either do it over the course of the entire song, so no one will notice, or all at once, at a breakdown or silent point in the song.
How do i make sure the key lock is on?
That is the purpose of the sync button. Since track 1 is the “master”, Traktor sets track 2’s tempo to match the “master’s” tempo.

Like others have said, you have to bump the tempo manually.
Step 1: Track 1 plays @ 120bpm. Slowly over the course of ~20-30 secs bump up track 1 to 123BPMs. Or heck just set the tempo to 123BPMs from the get go.
Step 2: Once the desired tempo has been reached, begin mixing in track 2.
Step 3: Lather, rinse, repeat for each new track you want to mix in.
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit!

6.6.4 Key LockTRAKTOR allows you to change a track’s tempo while keeping the track in key; thus avoiding the “Mickey Mouse Effect”.
Click the Key Lock Button on the right side of the Stripe to play a track at its pitch.
Click the small button next to the Key Knob to engage Key Lock mode without altering the current pitch.Both buttons are lit when Key Lock is active.
Jesus!!! really guys dont get too wrapped up with this. I go from 180bpm to 90bpm to 130bpm with no problem beatmatching and keeping the dancing floor moving.
You do it by using special wizard-like skills.
Or, alternatively, you learn to DJ and not just how to press the sync button.

THEN turn key lock on.
i dont know if you need to do this, and ive never tried to see if it matters, but i had to do it in LE, so as soon as i got TP i assumed it was the same and never touched keylock on again
I dont understand what you are trying to achieve??? surely if you are beatmatching the 2 tunes need to be the same BPM and then you just pitch up your new track to the desired BPM after the mix.

Seriously, this is freaking pathetic. You can’t use a damn pitch fader to speed up the 120bpm track and bring in the 124 track? You can’t DJ without using the sync function? I suggest you learn how to master the art of mixing. Sync is a shortcut, but you REALLY need to know how to do the process manually.
