No, “underground” acts compared to “mainstream” acts at mansion are few and far-between for the most part. Carl Cox at mansion will def not get cancelled because of this kind of event.

Yep, probably my favorite venue in Miami. On south beach the only respectable place seems to be Treehouse, speaking of which I’m pissed Monoloc is playing there on a Wednesday, which is the second time that’s happened in the past 3-4 months and I can’t go.
I’d add Grand Central and Bardot. GC has a great variety all the time.
Bummed to be missing Harvard Bass, Flinch and AC Slater at GC saturday but i neeeeeeeeeed me some disco house so Viceroy at Bardot is going to be amazing.
If I were DJ shadow, I’d secretly put 2 nice crispy biscuits in both CDJ slotloaders, smiled, thanked and walked away. He will win this as long as he keeps his mouth shut and let people like here on this forum play the game for him. Well done.

I don’t think they thought there would be as big of a backlash to throwing DJ Shadow, a legitimate legend, off the decks. Mansion’s facebook got killed with negative reviews.
I, for one, would be pissed if I paid to see someone like that and he got kicked off the decks.
