Mixer Advice
Hey guys,
So think I have just blown a channel on my Behringer mixer (No sound from left speaker), and obviously want a replacement ASAP! I have the opportunity to get a 2nd hand Xone22 for £150 which I thought was a good deal, but do not know too much about Allen&Heath mixers. Any help would be great, or recommendations in this price range?
The aim is for this to tide me over for a a few months until I invest in a mixer a stage up (have my eyes on the DJM350). Using this with turntables and TSP with an Audio10.
Cheers!!
Hi Truckie,
welcome to the forum.
The xone 22 is a good mixer. I owned one myself and still miss it. EQ’s are full cut and the sound is nice, super led’s and lovely filter. xlr output, aux send/return, record output, booth output.
That is a fair price for one.
Only downside is no on/off switch so have to turn off at wall or unplug adapter in the back of it.
IMO can’t see the point to upgrade to the djm350 it’s got no xlr(balanced) outputs, only aux in with no send return, no record out except onto usb stick. The effects on it are probably not as good or does it have the variety you have in Traktor so save yourself some £.
that’s the jist of it but there plenty of threads on the xone22, have a search for them.

Thanks a lot for the reply Zimfella! Thats very helpful think I’ll take the plunge then. I have never used XLR before, maybe something I need to look into?
Good news about saving on the DJM too!
Cheers
Your welcome.
if your speakersonly have rca inputs you can just use the booth output on the xone 22
+1 on the xone… I have had mine for 1 and 1/2 year now and has been abused monthly at a night we run with no problems!!
