need help with sample decks!!

hey, im fairly new to dj’ing and have a traktor s2,with traktor pro 2 and a kontrol x1, i was wondering if there is anyway to change the way a sample cues (plays) when i hit a sample button, right now when i push it, it will either play the sample as a continues loop or play the entier sample untill i hit it again, MY QUESTION IS THIS: can i change some setting so that each time i hit the sample button it would start the sample over again from the beging, and only play wile i hold it down?? please help, also can you set cue points in a sample

I know just what your talking about, I would be interested in this too.

It would have to be a custom mapping to do that atm.

NA have been improving the functionality of the sample decks. One of the newest releases of TP2 the pitch/tempo problem were fixed along with some added features.
