Im not reading anything on a built in sound interface, unless Im overlooking something…
Nevermind, just saw the pictures from the post, it was RCA connections, which to me says loud and clear there is an interface built into it.

the jogs looks sweet…very similar to what you see on CDJ’s!!! The rest is kinda blah, really nothing special. It said 2/2 internal sound card on the site. I think this will be a hit with VDJ - for Traktor, mmmm…it would definetly work, but nothing really new or special just another 4 channel controller entering the market. Sweet.

Otherwise i actually think this looks like they’ve nearly nailed it, I prefere the position of the jogs to the new NI controller positioning…
I prefer position too but early days yet want to try out both and even a vsm4 to really see if the trusty vci-100 needs to be replaced.
Looks pretty cool to me, but with the traktor controller out soon I struggle to see why traktor dj’s would buy the denon over the S4. considering the how tight the S4 jogs will/should work with traktor.
I’m more excited about the single players, they look really cool!

I still don’t get why a few people get excited about the supposed correct position of the jogs, I’m a very experienced scratch dj and I totally get why NI moved the platters up (a bit), this will actually improve scratching as your hands will be more of a natural distance apart from each other, granted not having the xfader in line with jogs will make it a bit harder to beat juggle, tho saying that why would you wanna beat juggle on a controller with tiny jogs? Plus if you don’t scratch how often do you actually touch the jogs anyway. For me NI have put controls most people are more likely to use more often closer to hand and the jogs are at a distance that mimics a similar distance you get between a real platter and xfader. sorry to go a bit off topic, but I find it strange people wanna shoot something down for being different without trying it first.

I still cue up with jogs and used to vci style layout, but not ruling out the ni controller as yet.
I’m loving my stanton scs1d too as it has a spinning platter and love the feel of it.
I know a lot of people say whats the point of a scs1d over dvs but hey no arm/needle to jump or knock so.
