New NI Soundcards
Anyone got news on the new soundcards coming out from NI?
I’m in the market for one but don’t want to make any purchases yet because of the upcoming releases 
It’s a pickle. The video they released a little while back makes them look really nice and I don’t want to buy any of the current ones only to have them outdated in a matter of months.
Anyone else in the same boat?

I’d say its probably what your looking for actually.
When the new ones come out, I’m still gunna use my Audio 8 DJ. Its still going to give me 4 decks if I need it. At the moment I’m only on two channels.
Its just NI keeping up on the sales and what not more or less. Capitalism.
The “old” ones wont be “outdated in a matter of months” but if it rings your bell having the latest shit only to be able to get the most out of it when theyll be “outdated in a matter of months” then go for it… It goes on a on like hamster wheel…
But again, it only makes sense if you want the new Traktor.
Okay so I know they won’t be outdated and will still be worthy investments, but when the new ones are released the prices on the current ones will likely drop and I don’t want to be beating myself up for not being patient and saving money later.

There’s a way you can get the Audio 4 DJ fo cheap coughcough, if that is the one you want.

Getting back on topic; yes it’s better to wait a little if possible.
Than again, an older model, for instance the Audio4DJ, is more than sufficient to handle a two deck need.

Yeah I think if I was going to make a purchase now it would be the audio 4, I would like to look into timecode in the future but for the time being there’s no room in my budget
I think I will wait and instead maybe look at a good pair of headphones, or earbuds, guh so many questions!
Sorry for thread hijack, but the new SC has a 5th channel for something FX send/return
Cant i just use my A8, Two channel mixing, one with maschine (hopefully? ) and the last being send/return.
I mean, who truly uses 4 decks unless doing a serious mashup ?
Well right now you can set each channel with a output so I can’t see why not when the new software comes out. It will have to have another addition for the 5th pair of outputs.
