I recently got traktor pro 2 with the traktor kontrol s2. I have tried installing the software, but every time i open it, it closes instantly and comes up with an error message with lots of code saying ‘traktor quit unexpectedly’. Also, even though (i think) i have the driver for the s2, i cant even use it as a MIDI controller with ableton live 9, because it won’t detect the traktor kontrol s2. I would be extremely grateful if you could offer me some assistance with this issue.
Ah thanks, i’ve managed to get to this point now that traktor has decided to open. However, the s2 is doing nothing at the moment, it is not lit up apart from the orange USB light, and if i move one of the sliders or knobs, it does nothing in traktor.
The MIDI mode is meant for custom mapping this controller outside Traktor (Ableton, Serato etc). If you wish to link S2 to Traktor native mapping then you should disable the MIDI mode. (again Shift+Shift)
