Found this in my e-mail. Buying an Audio 2 from NI gets you a copy of Traktor Pro Duo 2, whereas buying an Audio 6 or 10 gets you a copy of Traktor Pro 2. Deal ends in December.
Not such a great deal… You’ll still have a real nice interface, wondering why u can’t hook up your time code CDs or vinyl. Scratch / Dvs features ignored in this sale.
IMHO , best option is to buy traktor scratch duo to get the TA6, then upgrade the soft to traktor scratch pro.
I just sold my S4 so I have to transfer over that copy of traktor pro 2 (for some reason timecode works with it fine, maybe because I have traktor scratch pro 1?- i never bought the upgrade).
I own regular traktor scratch pro and I want to get traktor scratch pro 2, but I also will need an audio interface as backup or if I gig out.
So… I’m thinking my best bet is probably pay the $79 for the upgrade to upgrade TSP to TSP2 then buy an Audio 8 used on ebay (they go for under $200). An Audio 6 would also be fine and I would get traktor pro 2 but then would be stuck with traktor pro 2 and traktor scratch pro 1 and no scratch pro 2, I think.
Could I sell the copy of traktor pro 2 that comes with an audio 6 or is it somehow linked to the product that would prevent someone else registering it?
trying to decide between an audio 6 and an audio 8
