[OT] - I Love My Head Phones…

as the title says…

I love my Head Phones

I’ve got the Sennheiser HD25-1-II, limited edition Adidas Originals

music sounds better with you

im sure many of you guys feel the same about your choice of Head Gear.
and if so what is your Head Phones of choice ?

ps. if there is a simalar tread, please close and point me in the right direction

pps. think there should be a new blog headphone review update to include the Sennheiser HD25-1-II and the Aiaiai Tma… pretty please

AKG K702s, comfy, HUGE, and they sound great, and nice! Ohh and they look really sweet!

I liked the TMA’s as well, I got to use them at the DJTT store and it was extremely comfortable and sounded pretty decently.

I bought the exact same pair about 2 years ago when they came out on Limited run in UK only.

I sent them to a mate in Canada who wanted them but werent available.

He loves em.

right now i´m using some technics rp1200-dj in black/purple. i love them, they sound pretty good and their not to big. still thinking about getting myself some hd 25`s

Sony MDR7506 for the family computer that I do most of surfing and listening to mixes on.
I’ve also got some Ultrasone Pro 650’s that are a little big for my head so I have a pair of HD25-II’s currently on a UPS truck headed my direction.

hope you like

nice clean and crisp.

Xone XD-53s here. I haven’t really had the chance to compare them to anything else so can’t comment.

I’ve got Sony MDR-7506s. I find them a bit too bass-heavy though. So, I don’t know, maybe I’ll look for different ones when I somewhen have some spare cash.

Same here. I’ll tell you how they compare to the HD25’s when I get them.

Loving my HDJ-500s at the moment.

My only grieve with the Sennheiser HD25s? They fit too hard. Too much pressure on my skull.

That was kind of what made me decide on the HD25’s. I’ve got a pretty small head and when you said they were to tight I figured I would give them a try.

Cool, looking forward to that

I actually take them off while mixing, when I’m not cue-ing anything at the moment. And that even though keeping the headphones on all the time would be pretty much perfect the way cueing works on my Xone. But the bass is too distracting to me when listening to the master signal.

Cool!

I’m sure you’ll love 'em! The sound and isolation is great!

I’m thinking of replacing my 11 year old, destroyed HD-25s with pair of TMA-1s. The Sennheisers are great though - I’m tempted to buy some more.

i love my hdj 500s. but i wish they were tighter.

they fit fine, but walking around with them on worries me in crowds.

I got the Aiaiai TA-1s - had to represent since I’m Danish living abroad.. Danish company and all. RESPECT!

But seriously, they are pretty damn great and comfy!

Walking around is great for me. I’m using them as my allround (iPod)headphones as well as DJ headphones.

AKG K181DJ, heavy (compared to my Sony 7506), hold pretty well, loud, good bass, good ambient noise isolation so you don’t need to crank the volume too much.

For DJ purpose they are great, not something I would wear/use for a long session of “personnal music listening” or “Studio” purpose though.

hdj 1k’s here

i guess theyre ok. im not really too picky about headphones.

although i did try the beats studios, really good sounding

AIAIAI TMA-1 Headphones i tried at the dj techtools store were really nice too. WOW those things are light.

So did I - and I’m NOT Danish - check out the AiAiAi website - these Danes are Great

One gripe about Sennheiser/adidas - why pay royalties to advertise the brand? Same goes for Monster/Dre :rage:
