Powered Sub Woofer

I am in the market for a powered sub woofer. I currently have 2 jbl eon powered g1s. is there a respectable sub for edm music. i am even open to cerwin vega earthquakes if someone could point me out to a amp that can power them. I can get 2 earthquake subs for 250$ a pair.

Cerwin Vegas by far. Im a big fan of em. If you have the time and the ambition, try building a sub. Check out Billfitz Maurice designs.
