PSA: There is a dude stealing gear for fake trades
Even though there is no sign that this person has hit the DJTT community. I felt as if I should post this warning on here as well, since the offender is making gear trades via Facebook after seeing gear for sale on music related forums. One of the guys affected, has shared the stage with me and I can vouch for his honesty and his willingness to help other people make it in the music scene. It sucks to hear people getting burned by crooks, it sucks even more when you’re the one getting burned. Thanks for checking this out. - Eliot
thats a shame. I hate the feeling you get when you know someone took advantage of you. Im going through a similar situation, but thanks to paypal everything should be ok. There are guys like this on the forums here too, I have had a couple of issues with guys not sending things, or missing pieces.
Do not trade with anyone you do not fully trust. I personally rely on Paypal to be my safety net
On a similar note, I think we should adopt a feedback system similar to Ebay’s. That way we know who is honest, and who takes 4 weeks to ship

I got a secondhand VCI 100… with the default firmware…I put a message out I was looking to buy a DJTT VCI Firmware chip secondhand, he lent me the DJTT Firmware chip… and kindly sent it from the other side of Germany.
Now thats what I call being a really nice person that can trust a complete stranger in this shitty day and age.
So… we are not all wankers, some of us are professional and not self centered %unts… and do have a lot of honour.
