and I just heard that Serato are gonna offer a license to use DJM 850/900NXS as well as DB2/4 mixers as well as releasing a denon branded alternative for the SL2

Haha either way I just want dvs support from either Traktor or Serato. I don’t want to have to use a sound card when it has two already. I spin 90% vinyl and don’t would rather use dvs’s than buy cdj’s for home use.
I’m more interested in where they got the Bozak knobs that they put on that X1mk2.
Didn’t see anything about either certification. I’d expect Serato and would be surprised to see Traktor Scratch.
For me, it looks like they put everything I’d want in a rotary mixer. I really do not use time code anymore
The only issue is to see the cost… DJTT article said MSRP of $2199, but another site said $3499.
$2499 street would probably be what I’d expect.
I would say it would be around the $3000 mark give or take $200 at best.

Will never sell my MP/XP2016a combo and bought a rodec MX1800 a few weeks ago (and boy that is an awsome mixer). If this MP2015 live up to expectations then my Xone 92r will have to find another home.
$2199 is about the same then the current MP/XP2016s combo, so I’m shure it will be priced higher (street 2.5 - 3K is what I’m guessing)
It’s been a long time since I was excited about a new mixer (from a big player) !
Update: on second tought, 3K for shure (submix channel, filters, EQ & ISO, soundcard, USB, SQ (spec’s parts), custom levelpots, PCB’s, …) and THEY wrote this:

It looks visually really nice. but I can’t see myself functionally using it. I guess it depends on the style of mixing you do. Nice to see them have digital S/PDIF inputs as well
