what is a useful program for recording mixes from the out put of my mixer to my soundcard

what kind of computer are you using? … are you using serato?.. traktor? ..

before rane released the bridge i use to record using garage band on my mac. ..

i5 pc laptop, using traktor with an external mixer, tts, and a audio 6.

I use Adobe Audition but Audacity is good free alternative. You can use Sound Forge as well (also paid software).

Any decent wave editor will do. Adobe Audition, Sound Forge and Audacity are the typical choices.

I have it already, but I use Ableton to record my mixes. Pretty simple once you get the routing all set. I use Serato, and just route the aux out on my mixer into the soundcard on my computer. At some point I figure I’ll invest in a better recording soundcard, but until then, I’ve been fairly pleased with the results I’ve achieved so far.
