I’m trying to finish my new MIDI map for my Radius 1000 and I’m literally having an issue with the last button
I’m trying to map this button to enable me to switch between one-shot and relooping in a remix deck. I found a command called “Play Mode for all Slots” and mapped it to this button (with it being direct to relooping) but nothing occurs when I try to press it. Is this not the right command or is the the non-F1 remix limitation that I’ve heard of?
what more did you make that button do? to make it work that way you need several comands for that button and it going to be complicated. Are you using the hotcue buttons to trigger sample slots? and do you want all of them changeing from loop to one shot at once ? there is also a comand called Slot mode play. You need a modifier so that when it’s pressed you can switch from loop to one shot in each slot independantly.
I’m using the FX buttons as sample triggers and loading. Since I have a shift function, I’m wanting the button to change all the slots to reloop and then the shift + button to turn all the slots to one-shot.
I also tried doing it with (Play Mode for all Slots) but it did not change anything.
I’m asuming you are mapping the slots to 4 buttons on each Radius where left radius controls deck A and remix deck C ? or you maybe using all 7 FX buttons + revers and the Hold is mapped as Shift. but that is not so importent which buttons do what
anyway this way works for me you need to mapp 2 comands for each button
I’ve just set it to modifire 1 in the excample and everything is Deck A but you should get it.
Probable not what you wanted but this gives the resault you wanted just that its for individual slots instead of all at once.
Yes, I’m using the 4 left FX buttons as triggers (shift+button to induce hold play) and the right 3 fx and reverse as loading. The shift+buttons on the 4 right buttons hasn’t been taken up yet so I may try that; I’m not sure how I would return it to one-shot after pressing the button to make it reloop though.
Might just have to use the mouse for this
Btw, saw that you had the xmapping app for Apple; certainly wish they made a similar product for Windows. Pain in the ass to map in Traktor.
it’s quite simple you just map the same button 2 times
Slot play mode / Modifirer 1 (Shift+) modifier 2 ( slot play mode/ Remix deck (ABCD) / slot (1234) one shot) button direct Value= looped)
Slot play mode / Modifirer 1 (Shift+) modifier 2 ( slot play mode/ Remix deck (ABCD) / slot (1234) looped) button direct Value= one shot)
do the same for all buttons
Got it! Didn’t need the first modifier since the TAP button is already preprogrammed to act as a shift button and actually changes the note/CC to a new one when held down in conjunction with your button/knob. Thanks man! Now that this mapping is finished, I might post it.
