S4 effects bank selection

Hi - just hoped some of you could help me with this - just got an S4 recently and rather loving it - am mostly figuring out/finding info online about various things, but one thing that’s still a bit of a ‘???’ for me though is there are two buttons for each channel (marked ‘1’ and ‘2’ for selecting the effects banks)

However channels A and C only seem to allow me to select the left effects banks, and channels B and D the right banks.

(ie, button 2 won’t light up on A and C, and button 1 won’t for B and D)

Am I missing something here ? As seems odd and just wondering if there’s something amiss with my Traktor settings ?

So it’s designed that way ? Aw well, least its good to know my s4 isn’t broke :slight_smile:

Just wondering - does anyone remap the none used effects bank buttons to do other things as does seem a bit of a shame they don’t get used ??
