S4 Stand

Does anyone use a stand to mount their S4? I was thinking this would be a good idea to bring to clubs if there is no room. Would this even work?

This is from the ‘Post Your Setup’ thread over in General Discussion. I think its brilliant!!! I’m hoping the Odyssey S4 case without the laptop rig fits well on the bottom and a 27" iMac with the foot removed will fit on the top. That’s absolutely how I’ll preserve space. (granted, I’ll need a small table for Maschine and a mouse. Just in case…)

What kind of stand is that? Make and model.

I think that was posted by Irishblaggard, but I’m not sure. Search his posts in that thread, whoever it was did then go on to say what it was and where he got it from. It’s a keyboard stand designed for mounting multiple keyboards one over the other, and sadly it doesn’t come with the on air sign!

pretty damm stable. I think if I was going to use it at a club I would ditch the case use 2 uberstands for the S4 and another uberstand for the laptop to make it not as high and not as much weight. But I did mess around on it with the pictures in the post and it was stable enough to play on.

How tall are you??? Dont think i could see the laptop screen.

I am vertically challenged though, but still…

I am 5’10 I had no problem seeing the laptop screen. Remember that table it is on is a DJ table stand so it is kind of high. In most clubs I have been in the hight of the normal dj equipment is not as high as my home stand.

That hercules stand looks cool for a home setup and I think I’m going to buy one! Not sure about how it’d be playing live but I don’t have any immediate plans for that.

it can’t be. (and yeah, i’ve got an uberstand.)

works real good at home and for any house party’s and great for most mobile situations…
real solid too. and even cheaper than most laptop stands…

for me, it was also a great space saver in my room

The Crane stand in the djtt store looks like it would work, although it’s expensive.
