One of the complaints I keep reading is that there is some pushback at clubs if you start moving their gear around.
Well, we have laptop stands… does anyone make a robust CONTROLLER stand?? Would pretty much solve the issue of moving things around if you could just elevate the S4 above existing gear…
Iv seen a solution with rubber stopped attached to the bottom of the s4 so that it can sit on each cdj and above the mixer. Apparently it works very well
yea i know this problems,
Space Tek & Zomo doing stands like this, not especially for controllers, but for CDJs, FX maschines,…, which could fit for controllers too

anyone using the Odyssey laptop stand? hows the stability for the laptop? tried putting the S4 on it? frankly id rather have my S4 up above the club mixer/decks and laptop off to the side somewhere…
surely people have come up with something better than the stanton uberstand and less expensive than the crane (Which isnt wide enough for the s4 anyway)…
I got a pair of 1200 decksavers to set my S4 and laptop on for club gigs. It works great, when you’re done with your set, just take everything off and it’s ready to use for whoever’s on after you.
just picked up the odyssey LSTANDM in basic black and im really pleased with it. its really sturdy unlike what I heard about the original LSTAND. Currently lofting my Kontrol S4 on it and it works great and feels totally stable enough for lots of banging and playing, with the exception that the front lip covers the cue mix knob. no big deal though. nice stand. i feel totally confident taking it to a gig right away. Might buy a crane basic to compare against… but found this one locally on clearance for $59
laptop is totally fine but I figure, most clubs already have a laptop stand so i needed at least one for myself to put the S4 on if there isnt room on the booth… should work out fine!
note, it did take a little muscle and bending/tweaking to get the stand perfectly square so it doesnt wobble at ALL, but very easy to bend it yourself to perfection.
