So you think we have a good forum?

couldnt think of any long-winded constructive rant :stuck_out_tongue: but i like it here too!

+1000 To me Djing is a way of life. I love technical stuff and love learning new things. I do not get many gigs, but when I do have a gig, I tend to enjoy 101% and also shake my rumpa with the crowd to the dj after myself.

For me there are 2 types of djs (well 3 really)

  1. The technical creative Dj.
  2. The fame Dj
  3. The Producer Dj (Which really is number 1, but still different)

I dont like number 2. I like some of the famous djs, but not because they are famous, but because what they do is just frikken awesome.

P.s. I would LOVE to see Thomas P. Heckman do a DJ set. That must be one hell of a show.

These vids made me get goosebumps!

I have loved this forum since the day it was put online!

There is lots and lots of great people here from all walks of life united to a common cause, pushing this wonderful art form forward. Ive been a forum junkie for a number of years now and this is forum has the greatest vibe that i have ever had the pleasure of participating in - everyone here is great and truly an asset to our community.

Criticism can be a great thing and teach people alot but it has to be done in CONSTRUCTIVE way - shame the folk on the SSL forums cant quite comprehend this at all.

Its an absolute pleasure looking after this forum and i look forward to many years of it !

yo, continuing the idea, i wanna say that djtechtools has helped me a lot to understand the basics and advantages of digital dj’ing, which i’m definetely into now. people around here are always willing to help and suggest the right thing

thanxx)))))

this is definitely one of the best forums on the net and not just for digital dj related stuff/// i don’t really go on a lot of forums for the typical trolls that sit around being pains in the arses but this place is really good. informative - positive - light hearted - fun etc..

Your right! it rocks, everyone here is respectful, helpful and generally on point.

Now if we ever start to sound like this forum: :disappointed:
http://scratchlive.net/forum/discussion/?discussion_id=98913#new

I will shut it down lickety split.
[/quote]You got my Email didn’t you…

Djtechtools probably has one the more level headed DJ members I’ve found anywhere, Except for the R&B guys on TjsDJs, very close contest.

and banana hammocks!

I just read the complete thread on SSL, and I almost signed for an account just to tell those people how fucking rude they are, and how fucking IGNORANT they are. Wow, I am amazed!

Sorry Ean, they are talking out of their asses, dont worry about it

I almost did too then I realized they are the idiots that payed $500 for a 44.1K USB 1.1 soundcard that’s for the most part can only work with one software .

Not to mention for software that can only work with that one soundcard.

Get out here USB 1.1! That is so RETRO like vinyl, LOL!

Ha ha, let the Serato flaming begin.

Hehe, nah, lets not get as low as that bunch of morons. That is the main reason I did not sign up there and spoke out. Let them think what they want, and let them be disrespectful.

Ignorance is good for the intelligent! (pun intended)

I didnt mean to flame…its just that i didnt know the scratch box was usb 1.1

I remember that was stop me from getting the BCD2000. Tekki not the BCR2000.

Who’s flaming ? In all reality if you want to throw and promote parties that feature guest DJs you or the club you’re having the party at will usually need one of these boxes . Luckily I have a few friends that own a serato box I can borrow .

LOLz, no proBLAMMO mate. :stuck_out_tongue:

I can understand people dissing the bcD 2000, as it was a piece of crap. (Not even Vista compatible )

But a digital vinyl system that only works on USB1.1…?

Finally, he admits it !

Grrrrrrrrrrr… At least I do not have to make use of third party software in conjunction with Traktor, to have my controller working decently.

More than I can say for your VCI.
(Oh noes… we did not start that one again, did we? :stuck_out_tongue: )

Ive already shot down this argument many times before, so i wont hijack this thread to do it again :stuck_out_tongue:

Tekki protects his BCR like its his born!
