solid use of djs in a bands
my friend introduced me to these guys (keys n krates) a while back, i think they’re a kick ass combo. the band consists of a dj, a drummer and a keyboardist, basically every song they play is a live remix. anyways, i was blown away by these dudes and was wondering if anyone knows of any similar groups? also, i have a really strong urge to make a band now 
Modestep is a band with DJ as well.
Incubus, early Linkin Park, Slipknot come to mind.

Dope. Early Incubus is also awesome. Science was the first album I heard from them and was hooked.
ah man early linkin park was great. if you haven’t already, check out reanimation (a linkin park remix album). it has some sick scratching throughout
Agreed, their collabs with the x-ecutioners was awesome. Those vids were awesome too, chronic takes me back to my junior high days.
