Somebody please tell me what effect this is

In this video:

Starting at right about 2:00, there starts to be come glitchy effect on the sampled vocal loop.

Any ideas? I’ve been trying to figure out what this is for a long time but I could never remember any songs where I actually heard it to use as an example until now.

sounds like a ring modulator and a combo of something else, some sort of granular sampler

yeah, definitely sounds like ringmod + filter to me.
