Speakers for man cave

Hi, I currently have some krk rokit 6 for my monitor connected by xlr but want to add some more speakers to my system facing out to seating.
I currently have a pioneer djm900 but am not sure of the best way to do this or connect.
Would I be better getting some more active speakers, if so what’s the best way to connect or should I buy a seperate small amp and some passive speakers?

I’d put the krks on the Booth Monitor and then get a pair of QSC K8s or bigger depending on the size of room

Are you talking a PA setup?

I have a pair of EV 15" monitors that I currently use for wedges, but you could easily use these for main speakers to an audience.

For studio monitors, I’m currently using Focal Alpha 80s, which I upgraded to from KRK Rockit 8s.

Hi Linda,

I’d choose passive speakers, plus a decent amp. I’ve recently bought a pair of Edifier R1280T’s for my vinyl setup. I’m very happy with them so far.
