Spotify available in the US now
I really don’t know much about it, but most of the stuff I’ve read in the past seems to say it’s the best streaming service.
I’m sooooo pumped for this.

Honestly it’s amazing for listening to stuff, albums etc for free. Not loads of underground house in there or anything mind.
Shame cause we euros can’t be smug that we have something that you yanks don’t anymore 
so its kinda like pandora? but a lot better.. haha just able to stream tons of music, but choose what you wanna listen to?
Basically yes and it’s got an off line mode.
You need to pay subscription for that offline mode… or at least you do in Europe
Here as well and for now the subscription is the only way to get in on it.

Very true. Since I don’t have an invite yet though I have to pay to get it. Which I’m not going to do until I try it. 
I wish there was something like this for DJ’s. I’m sure many people would pay a premium for a service like that. Spotify + Traktor or Serato = DJ’s Dream.

hahaha i just got it too, and its pretty cool. there are ads every so often but i guess thats expected. it is kinda of nice to try and look up obscure things like the bioshock soundtrack but it dosnt have a lot of stuff… like stuff most of us on here listen too haha
My friend gave me an invite to spotify right as I started my shift at 8 this morning…needless to say it has been a long day! I just want to try it out!!
Just got mine up and running and I must say that it is very impressive. No wait time at all to play songs…
It’s very mainstream of course, and I haven’t figured out how to sort by genre, but it’s impressive nonetheless.
if you try to turn down the volume on your mac for the ads the ads stop and wait you the volume to work and continue on! No turning off the volume on a mac to avoid listening to annoying ads.
