Spotify Premium? Anyone use it?
Decided to upgrade my self to spotify premium, was getting sick of the adverts and the limit on how many times you can play songs.
There isn’t allot of edm on there but they seem to have a hell of allot of music on there!

There’s crap loads of EDM on there. Maybe not hot of the presses stuff, but more than enough to keep you busy.
Yeah been digging around for the past two hours and realised theres some pretty nice stuff on there!
Trying to find some decent playlists of some edm on there, expand my tastes a bit!
Here’s a classic house playlist I started this morning inspired by the rave thread.
It’s worth the 5$ a month charge just to be able to play songs offline in my car. I have playlists with tracks from ages ago that I just hit shuffle and away it goes. It’s also nice because it’s given me some great ideas for remixes and mashups. I find it very useful for DJing to listen to non EDM/DJ music.
Been reading Lloyd Bradleys rather brilliant book on the history of Reggae, Rocksteady & Ska, ‘Bass Culture’ and (for some unknown reason) am in the process of making a playlist of the tracks mentioned in the book. Got a 95% success rate on finding them so far.

One thing I’m really annoyed about is the lack of blackberry support from spotify, would love to be able to wack on a playlist on my bus to uni, but alas…
solve your problem by getting a iphone!
Unfortunately I’m a broke student so I won’t be getting an iphone any time soon! I don’t really see the what is so great about iphones though. I’m not one of those “connected to everything all the time” people!
However I was thinking about saving up this term and trying to get my self an ipad. Been looking at touchable and its been getting me all excited and wanting to get back into producing!
I’ve seen the 3gs on sale for just under a dollar here.
Don’t know if its already been done, but sharing playlists on here would broaden a few horizons musically, maybe a thread in this off topic forum?
Love Spotify Premium! Synced playlist to my iPhone to listen to on my commute offline. You can buy the tracks from them also I believe?
