Technics SL-1200GR thoughts Please
With the announcement from Panasonic regarding the SL-1200GR a few questions have been floating around in my head. 1) Will the build quality actually be as good as the originals or will it be along the lines of other consumer goods being"they sure don’t make them like they used to"??? 2) How will this announcment affect the current used market of the original? Just some some thoughts I have been having and wonder what the rest of the world thinks.
I think it’s fantastic and better than the original. Have to see how the pitch behaves since it’s probably gone digital. Used market should go down as you can buy new and better now for relatively reasonable price.
correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the MK5’s have a digital pitch?

M5G I think, but here we don’t know yet how the entire speed control circuity is designed. Just a thought.
