The NI Traktor X1 MK2 Thread
With news of the new NI Z1 I was looking at online retailers and came across this at one of them

I have not seen it announced anywhere so it looks like someone jumped the gun.
That’s more like it. Seems that only transport is RGB.

Am I the only one who still would prefer the original x1? I wouldn’t find the number display or touch strip very useful and the original has dedicated loop size and move encoders.
I hope it doesn’t rely on AC power
Was it flying around that the X1 mk2 was rocking a hub?

For sure, Would be a pretty epic feature though.
I’m guessing the touch pad could be for a freeze type effect like Traktor DJ on iOS

It was on PSL and they’re a legit site.
Now this is pretty cool NI! I love the Loop size indicators 
I also like that it now has RGB’s
Only downside would be only 1 encoder for track browsing, but shift + load deck can be mapped so it’s not a big deal at all.
Very curious on what that touchstrip (if it is a touchstrip?) can do. I currently can’t think of a way of integrating touch strips with my setup, so I’m hoping NI surprises me .
Also, the phase meter (if it is a phase meter) looks good. It is pointless in my opinion as X1’s are designed to be using in SYNC mode, but always a good to have feature.
I’m just amazed we’ve gotten to two pages without people arguing if this will replace a $2000 club mixer or not.
