The Official TSP2 Bug and other stuff that should work the way i want it to thread.

You sir are a god for lazy and thick folk like myself..

I am forever in your debt good sir!

Nah mate im just a sado with too much time on his hands.

Glad its sorted.
Do me a favour though and see if your pitch faders have become less responsive after changing to stable bpm. Im hearing that it might happen.

I fixed my problems!

was a very obvious solution - updated windows and xone2D driver/firmware/midi-firmware. then ran a few system tweaks on windows.
Now running 9ms latency with bugger all cpu usage

In my defence I had been using Traktor Pro 1 for a year and it never had issues - No point fixing that which isn’t broken.

Yeah I just tried it there and your right!
Its pretty bad too, like it takes a good few seconds for it to register.. Seem a bit weird since in Traktor Scratch Pro the BPM reading worked perfect worked perfect?

I’ve found CPU usage seems to really spike if I load a bunch of samples into the sample decks at the same time. Like, to the point of audio dropouts.

(edit: this may be because I was loading clips of charlie sheen, and as we know, no normal person can handle how awesome he is with his tiger’s blood and adonis DNA, this must hold true for Traktor as well.)

But joking aside, this is a problem i’ve noticed. pushed the latency up to avoid it (seems to have helped), but I thought it was a little strange.

quick question: how do i get the crossfade to work? it is on screen but i cant click on it and it doesnt work with my acp40.
also the same thing happens with me faders
help!

Are you in External Mixer mode?

errr :S ??/:confused:

sorted

yes, you are correct… but at the time i didnt know that

ok, playing with time coded vinyl on friday night and the decks would sometimes just randomly play backwards?? Half way through a tune, bang the song is goin backwards, happened about 5 times after an hour or so of being on.

2.0.1, Audio 10, MBP, MK5Gs,

hi guys

has anyone else had any problems with the kontrol x1 and tp2, i had a gig saturday night and half way through the set all but the track selection stopped working on the kontrol x1, and i had to finish the gig using the laptop which really affected the performance. when i restarted traktor it worked fine. im not entirley sure if its a bug, but i heavily tested it the day before and there were no such issues, only a few audio drop outs and slight freezes.

cheers

That’s the needles bro, they collect dust as they play etc. which messes up the signal going into traktor! Make sure your needles and records are always spotless

nightmare! glad its that simple though, it was my first time ever using Traktor Scratch, I was like WTF when it started goin backwards

also make sure you calibrate every time you start up Traktor with the timecodes.

The waveform not rendering behind the playhead is a bit irritating.

Sample Deck Mapping

I’m going to have to rethink my sample deck mapping… I was planning to setup a knob in the fx section to adjust the length of the loop, but unfortunately we only get Sample Deck → Slot Size x2 and /2. And you can only assign those to buttons. It’d be nice to be able to control the loop length with a knob, the way you can in the regular players…

You could do that with Bomes, psy…
