It took me quite a few years to finally admit “Hey im a DJ, thats what i do” ,mainly cus i didnt believe in my ability enough at first and also cus i kinda stumbled into doing it. I did not set out or try to become a DJ…
Now i cannot deny it if I try cus thats what it says on my Tax Return :eek:

Sorry but really can’t agree to some of the things. If whoever is miming or whatever ala Guetta, he is lying to his fans. DJing on pancakes, is like someone playing guitar with a broom stick on stage, only difference is people can clearly see it. If people could see or understand what a DJ was going and see that he was doing nothing a ton of people would be very upset, especially after paying god knows how much a guetta show is these days (50-100 bucks?).
Its just wrong in general. You are pretending to perform when people are paying with an expectation for something live. Thats morally wrong towards your fan.
Aside from that the guy is super annoying anyways.

His Guetta chat is way off, miming isn’t cool. It may not matter what medium you use but you actually have to be using one. This guys commentary on anything music related went down the pisser when he refers to Guetta’s stuff as pretty good.
I only got 45 seconds in before I closed it.
If I “dj’ed on pancakes” I wouldn’t make it through a single song before I ate my “medium”. But then, would I be a Log Cabin guy or an Aunt Jemimah guy. Everyone knows the Log Cabin guys are fake and bad for the “scene”.
