Track Storage?

Track Storage?

Any particular software you guys use to store tracks? I’m using Notepad at the moment and I’ve yet to really find a reason to find another program to store on but I have an inkling that there’s definitely something better out there.

Why do you use what you use?

Can you be more specific?

I “dig” I guess you could say throughout the internet for songs that I want to later purchase. I store said songs on a Notepad file and just have the songs compile over a super long period of time.

I wanted to know if there are any more, “productive”/“efficient” ways of doing this, figure you guys might know a thing or two about it. I heard someone here uses Excel or something like that?

beatport hold crate. Most online music retailers have a wishlist of some sort.

facebook notes

If I like a song I buy it straight away

Standard

I open up a microsoft word doc

i use notes’ too. Once i get a good list going then i listen to the all again to make sure I really want to buy them buy them. I should prolly just start adding them to the beatport hold crate thought

I just use Drafts (it’s an app) on my phone and it appends anything I write in it to a text file in my dropbox.

same. worse case, its a mental note and remember on payday

Great. Now I’ve got to go and spend $3 on an app I now can’t live without even though I didn’t know it existed 5 minutes ago…

I buy processed tree pulp and use the strange cavemen utilities called pens to put markings on them.

Same, and there’s an android version  Although it’s by a different developer, looks and functions exactly the same though…

i would be so damn broke if i did that.

^this.
